Janet Reger (1935 - 2005) was a British lingerie designer and creator of one of the world's most famous underwear brands.
This feature is dedicated, page-by-page, to Janet Reger's rare and famous 1977 lookbook catalogue featuring her beautiful lingerie designs with photography by the renowned Bob Carlos Clarke.
'Disruptor' (noun) a person or company that brings about irreversible and radical change in an existing industry by means of ground breaking design and innovation.
After a period of time as a freelance lingerie designer, Janet Reger founded Janet Reger Creations Limited in 1967, selling primarily to wholesale customers such as department stores in UK cities. In her early days, Janet sold directly to the public using only her mail order catalogue featuring her 'Bottom Drawer' collection. It was not until later that she opened three new boutique lingerie stores in London.

The intro is a little harsh on the eyes, but this is the official Janet Reger website and contains some fine imagery combined with background information about the products and their designer.

The usual Wikipedia stuff. Surprisingly lightweight considering the depth of the subject.
